1) Semi Auto Only. There are a number of modes that can be selected on modern paintball guns. We only allow semi auto. Ramping and burst modes don't encourage skill so we don't use them. Become a better player through trigger time, not simply by selecting a mode. 2) 280fps. The maximum velocity is 280 feet per second. All players will be chronographed at the start of the day, then randomly throughout the day. This is to ensure safety at all times. 3) 12bps. This is the maximum rate of fire. Bps stands for "Balls Per Second". There is simply no need to shoot any faster than 12pbs in any environment. Capping the rate of fire creates a level playing field which promotes improved skill. It also saves players money as they shoot less paint. 4) Overshooting. This means shooting people more than is necessary. It's not only dangerous, but also shows disrespect for your fellow players and won't be tolerated. We all get a bit excited at times, but players must show control at all times. 5) Abusive language / behaviour. Again, this shows a complete disrespect for your fellow player and anyone found verbally or physically abusing another player will have their day cut very short. 6) HPA Bottles. All bottles must be in test and comply with UK specifications. All bottles must be fitted with a fill nipple cover and also must have two burst disks fitted to the regulator. 7) BYO Paintballs. We do allow players to bring their own paintballs to our walkon events. Whilst there are no real rules regarding brands of paint, we would advise not to use winter formula paintballs during the summer months. Winter formula paint becomes hard when it's warm. 8) Goggles. Goggles must be worn at all times whilst in the game area's and when filling air bottles. 9) Barrel Socks. All guns must be fitted with a barrel sock before they enter the safe area. Barrel plugs are not permitted. 10) Emergency Procedure. If you hear 6 short whistle blasts, this is the start of our emergency procedure. We ask all players to stop shooting, fit their barrel sock and stand up. |
